This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My third grade class is amazing. My students want to learn, are enthusiastic about new ideas, and are kind individuals. Despite challenging circumstances these students come to class ready to learn. As an educator, I am always looking for new ways to engage my students while preparing them for their respective futures.

Robotics are the future.

Robotics are exciting and engaging for all ages. They will give students the skills to succeed in a world that is based on technology.

My Project

Becoming a life long learner is important, learning happens throughout life and instilling a love of learning is a teacher’s responsibility. People develop their love of learning early and engineering robots will help my third graders fall in love with computer science, which is the wave of the future.

Robotics and engineering programs encourage students to delve into exploration and create solutions to problems found in the world.

The school community is the perfect place to create solutions to every day problems.

The LEGO WeDo Kits will help students explore how robotics may help change the world for the better. These kits encourage creativity while using math, science, engineering, and cooperative learning skills.
