This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are anxious and willing to learn, but I work at a school with poverty. Ninety-nine percent of the students receive free or reduced-price lunch. Many students struggle to bring in supplies that will help them learn.
The students know that I, their teacher, and their parents want them to succeed, but money is very thin.
Please consider that these materials are going to bring joy to the students, knowing someone out there is willing to help them that they don’t know!
My Project
The shelving units will go a long way in helping my students store their robots and supplies. The shelves will be used as a showcase for other teacher and students to see the progress that the students are making throughout the process of designing and building. My students would love to show off their skills for anyone to see and the shelves will be used day in and day out. Anyone who is willing to help my students show off their skills will love to see the pictures throughout the entire building process!
