Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The students at our school work so hard every single day. They come in early and stay late. They always have a smile on their faces even when things can get a little tough or difficult to handle. We have been through some rough times in the last couple of years, but these kids keep showing up.

I want to provide our students with an opportunity to explore technology and apply that back into the world.

Many of these students do not have internet or computers at home. They come into the technology lab with little to no experience and are hungry for knowledge. I want to help them prepare for the world around them and give them the tools to succeed in a world that requires computer skills.

My Project

Understanding technology and how it works is key to being successful in the world we live in today. Our students need to learn these skills as soon as possible and with mastery. My goal is to give them as many chances to interact, engage, and practice with different types of technology as to gain a wide range of experiences to pull from.

The Cozmo robot is an amazing tool to help students learn and implement coding in the real world.

They can interact and program Cozmo to do many different things. This a great way for us to collaborate and cooperate to help Cozmo complete tasks. While learning and having fun the entire time!
