My students need an EV3 Core set and another EV3 brick and battery so more than one can test the program they wrote at a time. This will add productivity to our class.

My Students

My students are from a Title I school near Salt Lake City. They are excited about using technology while they learn problem solving and thinking skills. One group volunteers to come before school twice a week to learn how to code.

Students who have a deep understanding of technology and how to use it will have greater career opportunities as they get older.

My kids are interested in learning how computers and technology work. They are very motivated to learn both how to use technology and to make it work for them.

My Project

My students are learning how to code using a Lego Mindstorms EV3 brick and its attachments. In the past, there has been a great backlog of students waiting to test out changes they have made to their program on the real robot because we only had one.

Problem solving is such an important skill.

Having more robots for students to use for testing their programs will help them spend less time waiting to test their program, and more time seeing results and analyzing the outcome. This will make our time more productive and give more students the opportunity to test run their program each time we meet.
