My Students

My students are engineers, scientists and explorers in the making. They yearn to discover and create new things.

My students are the epitome of heart, ingenuity and creativity.

They come from a wide range of backgrounds, but they all love to dream big and aren't afraid to take risks. Being in a Title I school, we have students from both extreme poverty and middle class families all working together and encouraging one another to achieve great things and make the world a better place.

My Project

The LEGO robotics kit and books will be used to teach the students engineering, design, scientific discovery, programming, perseverance, and creativity. The robot will replace the sad, old robot the team is currently using in competitions. They need a robot that they can be proud to compete with. The kit will also be used during independent study time. Students will be given the opportunity to play, build, explore and design anything their mind can imagine.

This project will help prepare these students for the careers of the future.

It will give them a jump start in the fields of engineering, architecture, machinery, and physics. But more importantly the kids will discover the joy of imagination.
