My students need Lego Mindstorms materials for our robotics program. My students need Lego Mindstorm expansion set, an intelligent brick, and a rechargeable battery and charger for our robotics program.
My students need Lego Mindstorm expansion set, an intelligent brick, and a rechargeable battery for our robotics program.
I am teaching a robotics class in my school but I don't have enough materials for my students to work with.
I teach science in an elementary school in Brooklyn with a 50% poverty rate. I work with 250 third grade to fifth grade students. I am teaching a robotics class to a group of 20 students from grades 3 to 5. My students are excited to build and program robots.
My Project
My students will build and program the robots in small groups. For the younger learners, robots and robotic technologies can foster interest in the fields of science, mathematics, and computer fundamentals, as well as teaching them skills such as: taking responsibility, problem solving, decision making, goal setting, self-esteem, logical thinking, sequencing, troubleshooting, modification skills, engineering basics, and computer programming.
Robotics is a great way to get kids excited about science, technology, engineering, and math.
My students love robotics but in order to accommodate more students in the class, I need two more robot kits. By donating these materials to my classroom, you are helping me foster my students' love for inquiry and science.
