My Project

OWL Robotics seeks to build skills in engineering, programming, and project management in a secure and welcoming environment while promoting our values of teamwork, inclusion, respect, creativity, and safety. Our team’s goal is to create an educational experience that you cannot find in a standard classroom. We focus on simulating what an engineering field is like and providing an engaging learning opportunity for high school students, all within our school. Our robotics program helps develop leadership and collaboration skills that all students on the team can take with them into their life after high school.

The team wants to help promote engineering for all students.

We want to teach kids that engineering is more than just complicated math and science, and that it can be a beneficial career option. OWL Open Circuits Robotics is a student led, gender diverse, and LGBTQ+ inclusive FRC robotics team. We focus on building confidence, team spirit, and useful STEM and business skills to prepare for adulthood.

However, we are an upstart team and need a lot of supplies to be competitive. We already rely a lot on the generosity of other teams but it does make it hard to be prepared for tournaments.
