My Students

Students at my exceptional high school come from all walks of life with a wide range of academic and creative abilities. We are in the process of reviving our Robotics Club after COVID.

I have close to 35 robotics enthusiasts eager to begin building and programming robots!

We are still recruiting more students who are eager to join in the FUN! Students will be able to work on designing, building, engineering, programming, and driving robots, as well as creating detailed engineering notebooks.

Students at my school are extremely motivated and are eager to go back to competing in in-person robotics competitions. I am extremely excited to see a large number of freshmen and even more excited to see that we have a large number of young ladies interested in pursuing robotics!

My Project

As we began building our robots today, it was quite apparent that my classroom does not have the adequate space or configuration to effectively store all our materials. The students and I discussed various creative ways to make this tight space work for all of us.

We need a variety of storage organizers as well as additional tools to accommodate the large number of students who want to participate in the robotics club.

The Seville storage shelving system will help store the majority of our small parts like wheels, gears, motors, and axels. The Akro-Mils drawer system will help students keep screws, shaft collars, locknuts, and other small parts organized. Organized storage systems will also allow my students to make the most of the limited time they have to work on building their robots and collaborating with their teams.

We also need more hand tools so that all our students can build at the same time. We all appreciate any support we can get to make the most of the materials and resources we have at this time.
