Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The school band is a thriving musical program dedicated to fostering creativity, discipline, and collaboration among our talented students. With a mission to inspire young musicians and promote a lifelong love of music, we strive to create opportunities for students to explore their potential and achieve excellence. However, our program faces some challenges due to limited access to small things we need to send out program to the top.

Your generous support will directly impact our students by providing the mouthpieces, tuners, trap table, brushes, wraps, and other resources needed to repair, replace, and maintain our instruments, ensuring every student has the tools to learn and perform at their best.

Reed Instrument students will be able to have their own mouthpieces and cleaning utensils. The tuners will be assigned to different sections in the band to use as a reference when learning about intonation. The printer and speakers are items to be used for the entire band. As we build our library with the requested printer, the student leader over our library will have access to print and copy parts in the moment for students as well as students print assignments or essays during study hall. The students will use the shape set and all the other items as we build stronger readers in the Sight-reading process as well as better musicians to complete on regional and state levels.

Together, we can empower the next generation of musicians, enhance their educational experience, and keep the school band marching forward with pride and success. Thank you for believing in our vision!
