Like proud lions, our students are ready to thrive. With these special prizes, we’ll fuel their journey by encouraging consistent, on-time attendance—a cornerstone of their academic growth and engagement.
By offering small, fun rewards, we help emphasize the importance of daily attendance and being on time, helping students develop a positive association with school. Regular attendance enables our students to participate fully in classroom activities, build foundational skills, and connect with supportive teachers and peers. These incentives may seem small, but they serve as a tangible reminder that their effort and commitment are valued, reinforcing their sense of belonging and appreciation within the school community.
Our primary goals are to:
1. Increase our school’s average daily attendance rate by 5% this academic year.
2. Foster a positive school culture that celebrates persistence, reinforcing the belief that everyday matters.
3. Create a supportive environment that motivates students to attend regularly, helping them overcome learning barriers and promoting social-emotional growth.
4 . Build stronger family partnerships, emphasizing the importance of attendance through shared milestones and celebrations.
Our students are incredibly resilient, showing determination in the face of daily challenges. Many come from families dealing with trauma and economic hardship, facing barriers like housing insecurity, food scarcity, and exposure to violence. Despite these hardships, our students bring unique perspectives, curiosity, and creativity into the classroom. They thrive in safe, nurturing environments where they feel valued and supported. With diverse backgrounds and cultures from around the world, our students remind us of the strength in community and the power of a shared commitment to learning. Through the prizes, we aim to encourage their resilience, helping them take essential steps toward success.
