This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
At our school, our students are truly remarkable. They come from diverse backgrounds and bring unique talents, perspectives, and resilience to our community. They inspire us every day with their curiosity and determination to grow, despite the challenges they may face. Recognizing their efforts and achievements is a critical part of fostering their development as future leaders.
The Lion Leader Award Medals will help us celebrate students who demonstrate our core values of Leadership, Inclusivity, Optimism, and Nurturing (LION) during our monthly Lion Leader Assembly.
These medals will make the recognition tangible, providing students with a symbol of their accomplishments to cherish and remember. They will also inspire others, encouraging all students to strive toward these positive traits.
These medals will make a difference! Students will actively work to show the LION traits, fostering a culture of respect, inclusion, and kindness. Also, recognizing leadership will empower students to set positive examples in their classrooms and beyond. In addition, honoring students with medals will motivate their peers to follow their lead. Lastly, students will learn the value of perseverance, effort, and continuous growth as they strive to earn this recognition.
Our goal is to build a strong, inclusive, and positive school culture where students feel seen, valued, and motivated to succeed. These medals will not only celebrate individual achievements but also create a ripple effect, inspiring the entire school community.
