Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am requesting Magna Tiles sets for my students. This year we are learning about animals and their habitats. These sets will make a difference in my students learning as they will be building these sets in groups. They will practice collaborating, sharing and working together using these sets.

Magna Tiles are hands on tools that help students learn!

My goal is to assign each set to different groups and they will learn about those specific animals. We will do a model gallery walk once students have done research on these animals and have the sets ready to show others. Students will walk and learn and they look at these displays. It will be a very fun and engaging project for my special students!
