My Students

Imagine walking into a school and seeing students face light up, like they just won a trip to Disney. Well, this is definitely the reaction that you would see from my students.

Our school is Title I with all students that receive free breakfast and lunch.

The age range is from 4 to 11 years old. Many of our children live a very stressful life, partially due to low income and everyday happenings. It is a shame that at such an early age, they have to see and witness so much loss.

My Project

As we all know technology is today! I believe that all students deserve a fair chance in getting the best education possible. However, it doesn’t always happen this way.

Coding with ”Botley” would contribute to our students learning, by using the hands-on approach.

They would be able to see in real-time, how things can be effected, based on you input. Also, sometimes working with others helps you to get other views and ideas.

They need to experience trial and error. Making changes as they move through challenges. I would have the students working in groups to problem-solve and expand their thinking capacity.
