My Project

Our Social Studies curriculum for 9th grade at AHS is focused on global geography, history, cultures, and perspectives while building skills such as cooperation, compromise, and healthy competition. We've also learned to navigate the world using analog means WITHOUT THE USE OF OUR CELLPHONES!!

What better reward for a year of strong academic growth than with the classic board game RISK?

This timeless strategy game emphasizes all the skills we've cultivated over the past school year into a unique experience that students will treasure. By ending the year with a game amongst peers, we set ALL our students up for high school success by creating a sense of excitement for the coming school year.
