Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My rising 7th & 8th Grade SPED scholars will be rising above the rest in academics this upcoming school year. They just need to be supported with school supplies to make their learning a lot easier.

The items ordered like pencils, erasers, markers, composition notebooks, white boards and others will be needed for 7th & 8th grade math & science instructions.

These supplies will make a difference in my classroom culture and management. The supplies will also be needed for end of the quarter projects on famous mathematician and scientists. All of the requested supplies will make an impact on my classroom or my scholars.

My scholars are special because they are my kids during day from Monday to Friday. I try to provide an engaging and productive environment. Each one of my scholars are unique and they deserved to be treated as an asset and not a commodity.

They are eager to learn and ready to achieve their full potential. My scholars have been working with me all summer during Summer Bridge Program. They told me that they are going to be more focused and they appreciate me as their teacher. We are all ready to start this new school year with a bang!
