My Project

As an educator dedicated to creating a dynamic and collaborative learning environment for my students, I am seeking support to acquire a standing table for my classroom. A standing workspace will offer numerous benefits, including promoting collaboration, providing appropriate working heights, and offering flexible seating options that cater to diverse student needs.

A standing table will encourage students to work together, share ideas, and engage in group activities more effectively.

Students will able to work at the table, where they are able to work at an appropriate height and in a flexible way. This table will be used for students who benefit from the ability to move during independent work, as well as during group work. My goals for adding a standing workspace to our classroom is to increase student engagement and participation during collaborative activities, improve posture and comfort leading to enhanced focus and learning outcomes and have greater classroom flexibility and student autonomy in choosing their seating preferences.

My students come from a wide variety of socio-economic backgrounds. They come to school with a range of needs to be met in order for them to achieve their goals, however they are all capable of accomplishing them. Having a standing table will help them in this venture. By supporting this project, you will empower students to learn in a more interactive and comfortable environment, ultimately enhancing their overall educational experience. Your contribution will make a significant difference in the lives of my students, promoting collaboration, well-being, and academic success.
