Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students will take part in a "Kindness Jar" initiative, where they anonymously write kind notes or compliments about their peers. These positive messages will inspire students to design and create kindness-themed buttons using a button maker. The goal is for students to wear and share these buttons, spreading kindness in their daily lives and creating a ripple effect of goodwill across the school, their homes, and the community.

Students will also bring their kindness-themed buttons home to share with family and friends, reflecting on how they can spread kindness in their personal lives.

They will distribute the buttons to classmates, teachers, and staff, encouraging everyone to wear them as symbols of kindness and positivity. Additionally, they will share these buttons with neighbors, local businesses, and community centers, extending the message of kindness beyond school.
