Help me give my students access to brand new books for our school library. Many of the newer series, like "Piggy and Elephant", are expensive, and we don't have any copies at our school.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Marini's classroom raised $987

My Students
Our neighborhood school is a title one school where over 70 percent of our students live in assisted housing.
We are an all inclusive learning environment for all children in all capacities.
Our students are loving, friendly, creative people who need as many outside opportunities that the teachers and staff of our school can afford them.
We are lucky to have so many caring people that work within our school to help foster positive behavior and overall academic success. Our staff comes in with smiles on our faces every day, just to see our students return the smiles.
My Project
Our students would benefit by the purchase of these books, because they do not have access to regular public libraries. These books would be placed in the school library, so all students, and teachers can use them as they see fit. We are always on the hunt for lower leveled readers, such as "Poppleton", "Pete The Cat", "Henry and Mudge", and exciting graphic novels for our older students who want to read for enjoyment, not always for content areas.
We love books!!!
If we have more choice within our library, we would be able to promote a positive shift with different genres to learn from.
