My Students

“Always remember you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, smarter than you think and twice as beautiful as you’ve ever imagined.” Seuss

I always tell my students you are capable of anything as long as you try and believe in yourself.

That's why I love this quote from Mr. Ted Geisel (Dr.Seuss).

My students are special because they are full of wonder and eagerness to learn new things. They are the light of our future and I most encourage and facilitate their talents. My students need to know they have the capabilities of accomplishing anything as long as have the tenacity, along with having a wondrous imagination.

My Project

Riding the Electrical Circuit Train! will provide my students a new avenue to the S.T.E.M world. Snap Circuits Jr., Snap Circuit Lights kit, and Snap Circuit STEM will provide my students the opportunity it observe how engineers and scientists design different circuit board to control various things within their community, classrooms, as well as their homes.

Pathfinders Winter Institute provided a wonderful opportunity for me to learn different approaches to implementing and programming the use of circuit boards in unique ways, such as provide light to a city, sensor lights that only light up certain elements within the project, and lastly how to communicate between two circuit boards.

The Pathfinders Winter Institute was truly an eyeopening experience that I can share with students, especially when I teach a lessons on electricity and coding. These Snap Circuit kits will be great learning tools for my students since exposure or an opportunity to experiment is rare within their homes or community.
