My Project

Spring is approaching and our students are seeking new ways to develop their gross motor skills, such as pushing, crawling, jumping, running, pedaling, and throwing and catching a ball. Just like plants need proper nutrients to grow, so do our students: we need new push bikes for the toddlers to learn how to develop the skills to ride a bike, as well as push another student on a bike. The primary students need a bike taxi to pull other classmates around, which will help develop their gross motor skills. Basketball hoops, soccer nets, and an assortment of balls are needed as a way for students to move their arms and legs with purpose and control. In addition, it would be beneficial to have a new storage cart for these items. as a way for our students to move their arms and legs.

This project with benefit the lives of multiple Montessori classrooms that will reach over 100 students!
