My Project

This project will help build the vocabulary rich set of students that I planned for my class. Often vocabulary instructions is more of students copying meaning from the dictionary, which they sometimes find it difficult to understand and apply.

Despite their different peculiar physical and learning challenges, my students are enthusiastic learners, hence, the use of Amazon large index cards will give them better opportunity to showcase their knowledge of weekly vocabulary words and apply them at different situations, while conducting activities like writing, reading, speaking and listening.

When students have the knowledge of a good use of vocabulary words, it becomes easier for them to interact meaningfully with their peers, members of the school community, and the larger society. Additionally, this will help boost their self-confidence and the need to assert their rights, whenever the need arises.
