My Students

I have 22 outstanding students that come to school every single day, all ready to learn. Due to Covid, there is a vast learning gap that I would like to work on to have my students rise from the lack of resources and knowledge they have been missing.

My students are unique and have so much to offer with the proper guidance and opportunity to rise from the academic gap created by Covid.

I would like to have materials and books for my students ready to dive into learning. Lack of resources makes things even more difficult for children of low-income communities.

My Project

These culturally responsive books are full of culture and a celebration of our differences and similarities. It shows children to be tolerable and accepting of the cultures that are out there. My students will be able to learn about equity and individuality and lessons on accepting others just the way they are. I am looking forward to sharing these rich texts and expecting positive responses while fostering kindness and love for one another. I am also excited to lessen the learning gap and misconceptions about other cultures with my students.
