This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Thank you in advance for your donation! My classroom is located in a District 75 school specializing in teaching students with Autism. My students will be excited when presented with all the rich and engaging lessons, activities, and worksheets I can purchase from the Teacher Pay Teacher website.

I'm a 2nd-year teacher, and on my own, I have already spent hundreds of dollars of my money on teacher pay teacher trying to find suitable materials to help my students learn with fun.

I usually purchase adapted books for my classroom students who are moderate/severely Autistic.

I typically buy and download Adapted books necessary for my students because they don't have the attention span to sit and listen to a regular book with 15+ pages. Also, on Teacher Pay Teacher, there are Social stories I can purchase, print out, and laminate. I can use these stories to teach my students what it is like to be a friend, how to be kind, how to line up, how to wash my hands, how to use the restroom, people in your community, etc. Teacher pay teacher has so much more to make learning in my classroom rich, fun, exciting, and engaging.
