Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project will help the students by providing kinesthetic, hands-on practices of different drum beats. This will allow students to learn the basics of drum playing using the drum sticks.

The rhythm and beats are the heart of the music, and the rhythm is engaging and enjoyable.

This will also help with classroom engagement and collaboration. Also, musical notes, beats, and rhythm are part of the music NY state standards, which will prepare the students for more advanced content in the future. This will provide a good foundation for all of my students to get better at music performance.
