Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I will incorporate rhyming and phonics games in my classroom to support early literacy development in my English language learners by making learning both interactive and engaging. These games will provide students with hands-on opportunities to practice essential language skills, such as sound recognition and word patterns, in a playful and stress-free environment.

Learning through play is not only developmentally appropriate but also one of the most effective ways for young learners to master new skills.

By making literacy fun and accessible, I aim to build confidence and reduce the intimidation often associated with learning a new language.
