This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our students are highly motivated to learn 4th graders and they are hard workers. We have a very diverse population in this grade level, a mix of special education students, GT students, at risk students and a big majority of bilingual education students. Each one of our students is determined to do their best in the classroom.
My Project
The project objective is to reward student's learning. Students are participating in daily activities, lessons and Accelerated Reading Program. Students need the motivation rewards to engage in this activities and lessons. Students complete Imagine Math lesson, Imagine Reading lessons, AR reading quizzes, and received a coupon, this coupon together with others can be exchange for rewards. Students learned the financial understanding of saving and spending tickets that were rewarded. This tickets earned them motivational surprises to help them engage in a positive learning. Each of the materials asked would be used as part of our 4th grade reward system.
