My Project

For many of our young learners, Pre-K is their first school experience. My students are learning how to follow the rules and routines of being in school. These rewards will be used to reward and reinforce positive behaviors in the classroom.

In our classroom we use the PBIS or Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support program.

Rules are created with the class at the beginning of the school year. Then goals are set for the students throughout the year. When students reach a goal or we notice they are being leaders in the classroom, Leaders Bucks are given to students to put into their banks. At the end of the week, our students can use their Leader Bucks to go shopping for rewards.

Help me give my students mini stuffed animals, colored pencil sets, coloring books, toy cars and mini play dough for our student reward bin. These rewards will help motivate our students to be leaders, role models and positive class citizens in our school community!
