Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students in my 8th-grade class will be moving on to high school next year! I teach ENL students in the Bronx who have grown so much throughout the school year. They are excellent students engaged in their learning, are kind to their peers, and strive to improve their daily skills. They are a great class with a positive attitude and academic performance. Students can use these resources to keep them academically motivated as we approach the end of the year. Although middle school started remotely and under less-than-ideal conditions, my students did their best.

Help me celebrate my students' accomplishments.

I am so proud of the young men and women they have become, and I can't wait to see them continue their success in high school.

The pens will be used to write in their yearbooks and journals. They will be able to write down memories, obtain signatures from their classmates and teachers, and outline goals for the future. The candy will be used as a reward for their end-of-the-year passion project. The keychains will allow the students always to remember that they have a bright future with a support system behind them!
