Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our students have been affected during this pandemic in a lot of ways! It was a tough transition for both our students and their families. Many families lost their jobs, many students just want to be back in school with their friends and teachers. Many of our students did not have access to technology and wifi, which took several weeks to help set that up for them. We would like this project to be funded so that they feel rewarded and motivated for perfect attendance during this tough transition.

My Project

Our students are going through a hard and unexpected transition. Distance learning has hit them hard with having little access to wifi and technology. We are proud to say that they have been very motivated to learn and stay in touch with their teachers. Some of our students need a little extra push and motivation to log on everyday to complete their learning for the day. We would love to have rewards for those students who are not giving up during this very difficult time. We would love to reward them with a raffle for an Amazon gift card every Friday for the rest of the school year. This project will help students feel appreciated and accomplished.
