My Project
I am requesting classroom rewards, books, sensory toys, and puzzles. Classroom rewards serve many purposes in the classroom.
Classroom rewards can be a great way to boost a student's self-esteem, encourage positive behavior, and help motivate students to complement their intrinsic motivation.
My students are curious and motivated learners. All of my students receive free lunch and some of my students are ELL (English Language Learners). I am requesting classroom rewards to acknowledge their perseverance and citizenship in the classroom.
I find that rewards increase participation, encourage students to try their best, and motivate them to work together. Rewards help my young students monitor their own behavior by tracking rewards received. Positive reinforcement of good behavior works best for me and my students and the use of rewards has been shown to be effective as seen in modified behavior by students.
