My Students

My 5th-grade class this year is made up of 17 fun-loving and energetic learners. They are all eager to return to the classroom full-time and see their classmates in person!

In this class, we are social learners who enjoy working with our classmates, sharing our ideas, and moving while we learn!

This group of students has shown that they can rise to any challenge that is presented to them. I can't wait to see what they can do once we are together in our classroom!

My Project

Developing a love of reading in our students is important. Throughout the school year, the students in my class are challenged to read twenty novels of their choosing. Once they have read each novel they are asked to share a short review with their classmates telling why they would or would not recommend each book. These reviews can be written, recorded, or presented in class.

Help me reward my readers along their journey with fun and exciting fidget toys!

These fidgets will help my students relax and focus while reading in class and at home. They will also help these Reading Rockstars while they are sharing their reviews and practicing their writing and public speaking!
