This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The "Everything You Need to Ace Chemistry in One Big Fat Notebook" simplifies complex topics so learners can better understand the course material. I have used One Big Fat Notebook before (for another course) and have heard positive feedback from scholars. They have expressed that it makes the foundations of a topic a lot easier to understand.

Although we already have a curriculum with materials, these books aim to give scholars additional support with multimedia material.

Our students at JBA are determined to succeed regardless of their challenges. They consistently ask for extra practice sets and study material and take it upon themselves to learn. As a Title I school, we constantly find free resources for scholars, but sometimes it isn't enough.
