My Project

This project will be the final touches needed to revamp and redesign our classroom library. The students in my class are avid readers and love to go into the library on our carpet and read books.

Making this space more welcoming and comfortable will enable the students to enjoy reading in our library even more than they already do.

The bean bag chair and stools will allow for flexible seating for those that don't just want to sit on the carpet. It will also be a safe space for them to sit during our SEL (Social Emotional Learning) time. The felt chair protectors will make this space an even quieter area by protecting the bottom of the chairs so not to disturb the students reading in the room.
