The students at EES are talented and hard working individuals. The art work they have produced in the past was truly a pleasure to watch. This donor’s choose campaign is being created to put reusable clay (with a resealable pouch) in the hands of every student in the school K-5. I did my best and depleted my art fund to give my students at Ellis the basics such as: drawing paper packs, construction paper packs, and water color sets. I know it’s a tall order to have your students work from home and I am doing everything possible to make it at least a little bit more manageable. This campaign will provide a material for your student at home that is clean and reusable for the entire year.
My Project
Students will be able to use this clay product to help them build their forming skills. Students who may struggle with drawing and two-dimensional work, typically thrive at building forms. Building forms also helps with hand eye coordination. The clay being ordered is a polymer type, so it can be manipulated and formed many times with out drying out. The clay also comes with case so it can be put away when not in use. The reusable clay can be used for a variety of virtual projects through out the year.
