Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students had no idea that March 13 would be our last day in school together. Less than a week later, we were meeting in our Google Classrooms instead. My students love learning and powered through the pandemic.

We are preparing to return to school next week in a hybrid model.

We will be teaching at half capacity and blending face-to-face instructional days with remote learning. When we are in school, we will need to ensure everyone stays safe and healthy. With this project, I hope to guarantee a safe return for all of my students.

My Project

My students are facing a world of uncertainty. With this project, you can help me give my students a stronger sense of security and stability. I want my students to feel safe again in our school and classrooms.

With extra hand sanitizer and face masks, we can provide my students with a first line of defense against the coronavirus.

With air purifiers, we can improve the air quality and circulation in the hallway and classroom. With personalized classroom supplies and laptop cases, we can practice social distancing effectively and efficiently.

Not all students and teachers will be returning to school in person, but I will be there to welcome back my students and keep my classroom safe and sanitized.
