This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
This will be my first year teaching. I am excited to be teaching the upcoming 9th graders who will be going through the transition from middle school to high school and want to make sure they are fully prepared throughout the year and ready for all 10th grade will hold for them!
My Project
I have several students that find it hard to stay in their seat, especially as the day progresses. These items are a way for me to try to redirect the class to the lesson, a way to keep them in their desks so they are able to focus on the material and information being given to them, as well as be less of a distraction to themselves and classmates. Hopefully, this will allow them to focus their after lunch energy and improve many of the grades in my classes due to excess energy.
