My Project

Students work best when their mental health and physical needs are met. This project will allow us to create a restorative classroom that meets the needs of our students. Our students would benefit from fidget toys to help them refocus and de-stress, board games to build communication and belonging, and mindfulness activities like puzzles and coloring books.

We want our classroom to be a place where students know they can go for a calm, comforting, and accepting environment.

These items will help us meet our students needs and let them know they are deeply cared for.

We will be able to provide the basic like pads and snacks as well as a space to engage or decompress depending on the students' needs. We will meet students where they are at and make sure they are well cared for.
