Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are requesting colored paper, books, flashcards, and floor seats for our classroom. We use colored paper often in our classroom for ELA and math projects. Having colored paper makes things pop and brightens our classroom!

My students love that we have flexible seating in our classroom.

We are also requesting three new floor seats that will be more comfortable for my students. We have a low table that students take turns sitting at, and it's important that they are comfortable so they can focus on their learning.

Each week, we read two to three stories for our ELA lessons. We are hoping we can get more books to enjoy and look at during the week. We also want to practice and become more fluent reading our sight words so we are requesting flashcards and rings to help us stay organized.
