This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The second-grade students at my school are enthusiastic learners who are filled with curiosity. They are highly energetic and active learners.

As we have reached the middle of our school year we are running very low on a few of our basic classroom supplies.

Since September my second grade students and I have used so many classroom supplies and we now find ourselves in desperate need of restocking a few items. These items range from the simple such as hand sanitizer and dry erase markers to the odd like laminating sheets as well as everything in between. I find myself throughout the summer searching sales at stores and even given items from those in the community so I can keep costs down for my families as much as possible. As an Equity Focus school, our needs many be different from the needs of other schools.
