Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Nobody learns much when their stomach is rumbling or they're worried about being stinky- and in my middle school classroom in a high needs area- that could be a reality for many students. This year when we came back from being virtual, students came with more needs than ever. I created a Care Cart project through Donors Choose at the start of the year to help meet those needs: tooth brushes, deodorant, pads, soap, and bandaids.

Students have had access to it all and have used it!

Now it's time to restock the Care Cart for some of the most needed essentials.
