I teach all subjects to fourth grade students. There is a special need to focus on protecting our planet. Won't you help educate my fourth grade students, who come from diverse backgrounds, about the importance of the water cycle and how it affects us.

Science is not being discussed enough in schools. My students will comprehend important concepts about our environment and how we need to take care of it, with your help.

I have found a hands-on model of the water cycle and companion books that fully explain this concept. It will be used year after year for all of my students and serve as a reference source for related lessons. These books and materials will be placed in the classroom research center for the students to explore. They will be used by the students in small group settings with the teacher also. By doing this, I will be able to practice reading skills with the students while learning about the water and rock cycles. Students will collect data from these books and create projects that promote ways to help our environment.
