My Students

Every week, my students attend library class to engage with literature, research, and technology. I strive to make the library a place where students can build a love of reading, learning, and exploring the world around them.

Our library is not a place where children are shushed and told to be quiet at all times.

My students use every inch of the library - from the tables to the computers to the bookshelves to the carpet. They have fun, learn, collaborate, and explore with books, websites, games, and more! This large, light-filled space is just the place for young brains to grow.

My Project

As a teacher, I hunt high and low for the best resources for my students. One favorite place to search is Teachers Pay Teachers because of the huge offering of materials in different content areas, levels, and prices. My kids always benefit when I find items on TpT because I find things from librarians, language arts teachers, and social studies/science teachers who have made engaging materials.

I would LOVE to give my students the gift of dozens of resources from Teachers Pay Teachers.

Having a gift card to the TpT site will allow me to find exactly the right resources without having to pass up the best item due to budget constraints. The resources I want to get will help me in my lessons about researching, appreciating literature, and STEM-related activities.
