My Project

I am seeking resources for my therapy classroom in order to better serve my speech and language students. I am requesting items that will directly be given to the students to help motivate them to try their best.

The students who work hard, respect the rules/ each other and do what they are asked are able to earn a prize at the end of the session.

Prizes are a small piece of candy or small toy. I am requesting fruit snacks and jolly ranchers so I can offer these prizes to the students.

I also like to keep in touch with current students with written notes. I need stationary, markers, and dry erase markers to help me keep in touch with my students. I send home Thanksgiving cards to current students and also plan on doing the same for the Winter Holidays. This way they learn important reading skills, vocabulary (stamp, emvelope, mail etc) and practice writing me back! It is so important to make strong connections with families and demonstrate ongoing links.
