My Students

My students are eager young learners who love to learn in a variety of ways. They come to school each day ready to learn and are excited to see what each day will bring.

My biggest challenge as a teacher is finding new lessons and ways in which to deliver lessons that will keep them interested.

Living in a world where technology is everything, it becomes harder each day to keep them focused on the content they must learn without boring them.

My Project

We are all aware that funding in education is at an all-time low. Due to that, we are unable to get the basic supplies we need in our classrooms.

Currently, I only have a class set of elementary level dictionaries that do not have the higher-level words my 6th graders are learning.

I am in need of intermediate dictionaries in my classroom so that my students may have appropriate level resources for projects and assignments. Having these dictionaries will benefit my students and give them the tools they need to complete writing projects as well as further their vocabulary skills.
