Help Ms. Hubbert

I teach kindergarten in a high need community in Oklahoma. Many of my students receive very little academic support outside of school, although this does not deter them from bringing a contagious enthusiasm for learning to our classroom every single day!

With no budget for classroom supplies or manipulatives, we are significantly lacking resources for our centers rotation groups. Centers are a vital part of early childhood education, as they provide interactive ways for students to learn independently or as a group rather than just having them do worksheets for lessons. My students are advancing far beyond the activities I have been able to supply with my own money, and the resources requested would help close the gap in our classroom.

With the purchase of language arts resources, math manipulatives, emerging reader texts, resource books and games, and a writing center for our classroom, my students will be further pushed to achieve the academic success I know they are capable of, while enjoying learning to its fullest. There is a high price tag to obtaining these resources for our classroom, but their application in our daily routines will be invaluable for my students. These resources will not collect dust on our shelves, they will be in use daily within our learning environment.

With your donation, you will make it possible for my students to receive the educational experience that they deserve, with the resources necessary to ensure they are fully prepared to continue on as lifetime students and leaders!
