This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are hard working and eager learners. However, several struggle with higher-level language skills such as making predictions and inferences. Many students require visual support and multi-sensory activities to build vocabulary and critical thinking skills to make inferences. Funding educational resources for this project will support student learning as they engage in small group activities.

Students will respond to a variety of literal WH- questions, activate prior knowledge and identify clues in picture prompts to make inferences.

This project will allow students to use resources as they work collaboratively.
