Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are a small group of creative masterminds! My students want to be engineers, architects, work for NASA, lawyers and the doctors of our future.

I teach all subjects to a group of energetic and enthusiastic fourth and fifth grade gifted students.

We are a Title I school, meaning most of our students are low income and their first language is a language other than English, usually Spanish.

I teach a group of gifted students, who although might not be economically advantaged, have a drive to learn. I also teach ESL students (English as a Second Language). Many students will learn English in my class. My goal is to make my students achieve their goals and push themselves to continue learning and be the best they can be.

My Project

My students requiere enrichment activities to enhance higher order thinking and supplement the provided learning. The gift cards allow me to purchase materials created by teachers to provide additional learning opportunities. These resources can range from book studies to complete while we read novels together, to coding activities for the robots we use in class.

Gifted learners need to be challenged.

The resources I purchase on Teachers Pay Teachers allow the students to use digital resources as well as print resources that go with the material we are learning in class. Students enjoy the activities I find for them as well as the resources to supplement their learning.
