Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My school was closed down overnight, leaving us without any resources to teach or learn from home. It was sudden but my kids were resilient and engaged.

They enjoyed our Zoom meetings and these resources will greatly improve their learning.

My Project

As a result of this pandemic my students and I have been thrown into a new way a learning. Unfortunately, I wasn't as prepared as I would of like to be. Therefore I am asking for your help in helping me access these resources to better teach my students.

A new computer will help me plan and deliver instructions more effectively and the document camera will allow me to interact and deliver my lessons in a more efficient and engaging way.

These two materials are critical to help me deliver lessons during Distance Learning and when face-to-face.

My current laptop is more than 7 years old and not reliable. Many times during a Zoom meeting, it has crashed on me and it has made lesson planning very challenging.
