My Students

I am going into my 14th year of teaching kindergarten. I love kindergartners because they are so eager to learn new things. I love watching them get excited about reading new books and learning new things.

My students are so special that I want to keep them every year.

I know this year will be one for the record books. All my students come from different backgrounds which make each one of them so special to me. We love to listen to each one of them and where they live and how alike and different we are.

I also have ELL students who are so special to me. I love seeing them grow and learn something new. I find it rewarding when my kindergartners that have been struggling with a lesson finally understand it and their faces light up with pride. Makes my heart happy for them. I love to listen to them read and understand what they are reading.

My Project

Students will use the notebooks in class and can also take them home if we have to miss days from school. In these notebooks students will have individual activities to help them learn. They will use the markers on the page protectors so they can be easily wiped off and reused. They will have supplies in the binder pockets to hold all of the items they will need. Parents will not have to go and buy items that will be needed for these binders. The seat sacks will help keep everything of the students from getting mixed up with others.
