I am a special education teacher working in the resource room with grades K-5. Often my students have emotional regulation goals and need tools to aid their emotional regulation. The materials I am requesting are tools, such as the Liquid Tiles, the Sensory Viewers and Hoberman Sphere, that will help them stay calm and regulated independently.
Resource students need visuals that model their expectations, I am asking for reusable notebook chart paper so I can better instruct them.
Due to Covid, we have noticed that students have lost the opportunity to do so in years prior. So having a visual will help them understand and learn this skill. Several of my students have writing goals and this small contribution will help them build those skills.
The art supplies, such as the paper, brushes, and acrylic paints, are needed to build fine motor as well as completing arts and crafts. Students in my resource room have IEP goals in academics, behavior, and emotional regulation. These resources will help address a multitude of their individual goals. Help me make them more independent by giving them tools to use to meet their goals.
